From Family Conversations to a Platform for Change: How a Simple Ask Sparked a Website

When my daughter asked me how to explain her support for Kamala Harris to her friends, I was thrilled to help her articulate her views. Even though she can’t vote yet, her enthusiasm and ability to influence others are invaluable. As I started explaining her options, I realized I might have overwhelmed her with too many points. So, when she suggested I write it down, I decided to create a website instead!

I aimed to keep the content accessible and engaging, avoiding the deep dives that can be overwhelming. Initially, I focused on comparing the 2024 candidates, but I quickly saw the value in also offering guidance on having thoughtful political discussions.

Having grown up among friends with diverse views on everything from religion to politics, I've learned a lot about navigating these conversations. My goal is to share these insights and support my daughter, and others like her, in forming and expressing their own informed opinions.

On this site, you’ll find a concise, principled approach to various political topics, emphasizing respect and responsibility. I hope to inspire future generations to engage in more meaningful and impactful conversations about the issues that matter most.
